Americans for Prosperity

Our mission is to empower every American to achieve their version of the American Dream. Across the State of Texas, we connect people with policy and empower them to use their voices to create change on issues of public policy from securing the border, school choice, affordable healthcare and making sure our economy works for everyone.

The Libre Initiative

Driving progress for Latinos, LIBRE brings people together to make a positive impact in the areas that matter most to Hispanics in this country – a strong economy and good jobs, access to affordable healthcare, a secure border with safer communities, and quality education for our children.

Our Values

Every voice matters

Public policy should reflect the people. The government is accountable to the people, and we work to ensure that every voice can participate with positive solutions to keep Texas the greatest state in the greatest nation. Our teams work across Texas to find both the smallest and biggest voices to make sure the policies in our state come from the people.

Change comes from people closest to the problem

Local impact can create statewide change. We buck the idea that the government knows best for your life. A one-size fits all solution… fits no one. Our teams know that a bottom-up approach empowers communities and makes lasting change.

Respect and Dignity are paramount

Non-partisan and principled. We believe you can disagree without being disagreeable. We will work with anyone to do good and believe that standing firm on principle means you don’t waver in the ever-evolving world of policy and politics.

Connection and communities are key

Connecting people, principles and policies. Texans are communal and desire to connect. Our teams want to bring people together for fun, fulfillment and meaning.
