Americans for Prosperity

Our mission is to empower every American to achieve their version of the American Dream. Across the State of Texas, we connect people with policy and empower them to use their voices to create change on issues of public policy from securing the border, school choice, affordable healthcare and making sure our economy works for everyone.

The Libre Initiative

Driving progress for Latinos, LIBRE brings people together to make a positive impact in the areas that matter most to Hispanics in this country – a strong economy and good jobs, access to affordable healthcare, a secure border with safer communities, and quality education for our children.

We Believe

Every voice matters

Public policy should reflect the will of the people. Voices (from the grassroots to the grasstops) are important and should actively participate to identify problems and positive solutions to keep Texas the freest and most prosperous state in the union.

Change comes from people closest to the problem

Local impact can create statewide change. We buck the idea that the government knows best for your life. Our teams are committed to working with you on a bottom-up approach that empowers communities and creates lasting change.

Communities and connection are the key to change

From experience, we know that real change occurs when citizens and communities are directly connected with lawmakers to share their stories.
