SUMMARY:Atlanta\, TX: Thursday Coffee and Community
DESCRIPTION:Our 1st Thursday Coffee and Community event has been moved to January 8th due to the New Year. Join us for our monthly coffee/hot cocoa community get-together where we talk about all things TAXES!! It’s gonna be cold\, but we will be warm indoors!! \nThe best way to make change is to get involved\, and our guests leave these monthly meetings feeling energized and empowered. \nProperty Taxes is the #1 topic in homes across Texas as taxpayers struggle to find the extra funds to keep their homes year after year – Extreme appraisals\, out-of-control spending by taxing entities\, and low voter turnout are what’s keeping our wallets stretched to the max. \nIt’s time for major reform folks\, but it’s going to take all of us to make it happen. At this meeting\, we will get our schedule put together for block walking starting January 10th. We need drivers\, block walkers\, and a team spirit to get our public involved and awareness brought to the doors. \nWE THE PEOPLE will bring change to Texas! Who wants to join us? \nThursday\, January 8th \n8:30am – 10:30am \nCaffe Crema\, Atlanta Texas
