SUMMARY:Texarkana: Day of Action
DESCRIPTION:Americans For Prosperity is at it again! Our volunteers are pumped about delivering the message of Property Tax Reform to taxpayers in Bowie County. Join us as we Tackle The Tax one door at a time. \nWe are knocking on doors in neighborhoods and engaging citizens about the urgent need for Property Tax Reform in Texas\, and we want you to be part of our mission to overcome the generational debt that is staring us all in the face. \nAre your property tax statements going up? Well\, taxing entities are raising their budgets and increasing spending\, and don’t let a “tax rate decrease” fool ya. When rates go down\, budgets go up! And\, that means a property tax increase! \nTogether we can move the needle and change the tax landscape in our state\, but we need our grassroots to take part and make this happen! \nContact Kay Burton for more information about meeting location and how you can become involved in our efforts. \nKay Burton (903) 799-9225\, KBurton@afphq.org
