SUMMARY:Harker Heights: Freedom Unleashed at City Hall
DESCRIPTION:Let’s go to City Hall and advocate for responsible use of our tax dollars. \n\nCity taxes are a relentless property burden on renters\, homeowners\, and small businesses\, with rates rising faster than incomes and profits. Residents have successfully presented why the tax rate could stay the same and two council members agree. Come and support your neighbors and learn Tax Reform principles you can use in your city. \n\nYour presence will make the difference whether the Harker Heights City Council does like most cities and break residents’ budget or continue to lead in fiscal responsibility. \n\nWear your “Freedom Is Bigger In Texas” or “AFP” shirts to show our local elected officials we support Appraisal System Overhaul\, Honest Tax Rate Practices\, Stop Hidden Debt\, Restore Transparency.

SUMMARY:Avinger\, TX: Freedom Unleashed Tour
DESCRIPTION:Marion County Republican Assembly! \nJoin Kay Burton\, your Grassroots Engagement Director with Americans For Prosperity-NE Texas for a town hall event where we continue to Unleash Freedom\, Opportunity\, and Prosperity in the Lone Star State. \nProperty Tax REFORM will be the HOT topic of discussion because taxpayers are HOT about their wallets being stretched to the max due to out-of-control spending by local taxing entities. \nThe weight of spending and debt is being carried on the shoulders of our citizens. People are being taxed out of their homes\, and the BILLIONS in Relief that has been passed down from Austin is not reaching property tax statements. \nBudget hearings are happening now: School Boards\, City Councils\, and County Commissioners are determining the spending of our hard-earned dollars\, and every taxpayer needs to know where every dollar is being spent. \nMake plans to attend this event-Engage in meaningful conversation-Let your voice be heard! Don’t forget to bring a friend!
