SUMMARY:Day of Action: Bowie County
DESCRIPTION:Please join your Grassroots Engagement Director\, Kay Burton\, and her great volunteers as they stroll through neighborhoods in Bowie County and speak to citizens about Property Tax Reform in Texas. \nOur wallets are suffering due to local spending and debt. We need REAL REFORM! Did you know the Texas Legislature gave $18 Billion in relief in 2023\, and voters will have an opportunity to vote on another $10 Billion this coming November. However\, have you seen any of this relief on your property tax statement? \nBecome an active voice in your community\, and join us\, as we bring vital information to the public. We look forward to seeing you at the door!
