SUMMARY:Gregg County: Tax Talk. What's NOT in Your Wallet?
DESCRIPTION:Folks\, it’s time to take a look at spending: Federal\, State\, County\, City\, and Independent School District. Where are all of our tax $$ going? \nJoin Americans For Prosperity’s Grassroots Engagement Director\, Kay Burton\, June 18\, and be informed as to what questions we need to be asking of our local taxing entities. \n  \nLocal spending creates: Rate Increases\, Bond Elections\, Broken Budgets\, and School District Spending. Did you know the Texas Legislature gave property owners a refund of $18 Billion last session? Where did all that money go? Have your property taxes decreased as a result of that refund? \nWHAT’S NOT IN YOUR WALLET? \nPlease consider attending the Gregg County Republican Women’s monthly meeting and join in conversation about this HOT topic!!
